As one of the fastest-growing channel marketing and strategy companies, Gorilla Corporation, announced on Wednesday their expansion into the Middle Eastern and African (MEA) regions. William Oduol, the former Westcon-Comstor Group Africa CEO, is leading this area.
Mr. Oduol now serves as Gorilla’s Regional President for MEA and brings over 25 years of technology expertise to this post. He joins Gorilla at a critical time as virtual business practices continue to boom, and the company’s multi-country plan is coming to fruition.
“This is an important move for Gorilla Corporation, which has established a global reputation in IT channel marketing and sales for top technology vendors in the fields of a hyper-converged data center, cloud, and cybersecurity,” said Mr. Oduol.
The regional headquarters, located in Cape Town, South Africa, joins a secondary office in Nairobi, Kenya. These sites are excellent additions to the customer and partner base that also encompasses the Americas, Europe, and APAC regions.
President and CEO of Gorilla Corporation, CarloTortora Brayda, is particularly eager about this new development.
“This expansion is in line with our strategy of expanding into the emerging markets that are expected to yield significant cost and revenue synergies. In Mr. Oduol, we have the right leader with the political capital, cultural experience, and channel sales expertise in the region to drive our expansion and closely support our clients,” said Mr. Brayda.
